I'm delighted to share my experience at Basilico Trattoria Italiano, the new small Italian trattoria/restaurant in the center of Loulé. The moment you step inside, it feels like you've landed directly in Italy, with cheerful Italian music playing in the background.
The restaurant has a homely atmosphere with 12 tables indoors and a few tables on the sidewalk by the square, where you can enjoy views of passersby.
It's the perfect spot for a tasty and affordable lunch or dinner. Also glutenfree options.
A definite highlight is the Italian lunch/dinner deal for just 14.90 euros.
This deal includes delightful house wine, bruschetta, a main course of your choice (both meat and vegan options available), and coffee.
The quality of the dishes is good, and the house red wine is highly recommended.
The menu is very diverse, offering a range of meat, pasta, and vegan dishes, including delicious options like Lasagne, Risotto, and Parmigiana.
Main courses start at only 10.50 euros, making it budget-friendly.
If you're looking for recommendations, be sure to try the fantastic risotto and the divine panna cotta. Basilico Trattoria Italiano truly indulged my taste buds, and I can't wait to return for more Italian delights.
