Pezinhos na Areia, a beach pavilion located just 15 minutes from the Spanish border, offers breathtaking views of the beach towards Monte Gordo, a tourist town with 4,000 residents.
The service is friendly, and the menu offers not only seafood and meat dishes but also vegan options such as Mushroom Risotto (€27.50) and Cataplana with tofu (€32.50).
While the restaurant may not have a luxury ambiance, and the food may not reach Michelin standards, the prices are on the higher side. However, the splendid view makes a visit well worth the investment.
Additionally, Pezinhos na Areia is close to Praia Verde, an enchanting part of the Algarve known for its beautiful forests and tranquil beaches. Unlike some busier destinations in the Algarve, Praia Verde retains its charm due to its small-scale and minimal commercial development. It's all about natural beauty here, and it remains an authentic and peaceful haven where travelers can be in harmony with nature.
