Founded by Phil and Anja Burks, In The Pink focuses on both international icons and emerging local talents, aiming to bring art closer to people in a unique way.
Phil and Anja Burks, a British-German couple sharing a passion for photography, began their journey with In The Pink in 2022. After years of collecting and involvement in the art world, they decided to deepen their expertise while giving back to the Portuguese community.
This vision led to the creation of their first gallery in a beautifully restored Art Deco building in Loulé’s historic center. The “pink palacete,” spanning three floors, has quickly become a home for both established and emerging photographers.
With a wide array of solo and group exhibitions, In The Pink has earned an impressive reputation in a short period. The gallery provides a platform for world-renowned photographers such as Albert Watson, Steve Schapiro, Rankin, Vee Speers, and Jacob Gils.
