Gianni recently reopened after a major private investment by a wealthy family. The result: a beautifully designed restaurant with a modern kitchen, elegant indoor dining and one of the most charming terraces in all of Vale do Lobo. With a stylish outdoor bar, it’s the perfect spot for a long lunch or relaxed dinner.
Led by a French top manager, Gianni’s team of 25 people (half kitchen, half service) runs like a well-oiled machine. Service is friendly, quick and polished. Our waiter Nassar deserves a special mention — he kindly asked whether we preferred our main course right after the starter, or if we wanted a break in between. Of course, we chose the pause. At Gianni, you don’t want to rush. You want to enjoy.
Gianni’s menu is classic Italian, but with plenty of space for individual needs. Most pastas can be made gluten-free, and many dishes are available vegan or vegetarian — just ask the staff, they’re happy to help.
