Located near Tasca 26 restaurant, Quirinus Steakhouse in Porches shares a striking resemblance in concept and ambiance. It wouldn't surprise me if they share the same owner. The interior is neat, and everything appears well-maintained.
The staff is friendly and efficient, and their champagne is delightful, making for a great start to the evening.
Quirinus offers a variety of options, including meat and fish dishes like Cod fish (€19.70), salmon (€21.50), and the daily fish special (€15.90). They also have two vegan dishes, the Schnitzel (€16) and the Vegan burger (€13.50).
A downside is that you have to order fries and mayonnaise separately for €4.50. While the menu is extensive, it lacks vegan appetizers.
Overall, Quirinus Steakhouse delivers above-average food and service, though it doesn't reach the absolute top tier. Our rating stands at a solid 8.2, but not higher.
