Café Zique Loulé is more than just a romantic restaurant; it's an enchanting dining experience. This former art gallery, transformed into a culinary masterpiece, testifies to the passion and expertise of the chef. Leandro Araújo, with his background at the Michelin-starred Sao Gabriel, has created something truly extraordinary here.
Café Zique is not just about delicious food; it also offers excellent options for vegans. However, be sure to book in advance to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Great 6 course tasting menu at 60 euros. (vegan possible on request) It promises a delightful and romantic evening!

The menu is a journey of flavors, from a mini-curry bursting with fruitiness to a delightful dish of pumpkin and rice that showcases the chef's creativity. And don't miss the desserts - almonds and coconut with a dessert wine, pure indulgence.
The staff at Café Zique are not only professional but also incredibly friendly and passionate, making your visit truly memorable. While the restaurant is almost perfect, there was a minor setback with no gluten-free bread, despite mentioning it in the reservation.
In summary, Café Zique Loulé is a must-visit for those seeking an extraordinary dining experience in Loulé. It's a hidden gem where the chef's passion, an exceptional menu, and an inviting atmosphere come together for an unforgettable meal. Bravo!
Tip: As welcoming as the staff is, strangely enough, the front door is always locked. So, make sure to have your phone handy in case they don't hear you knocking.
Please mention if you like to have the regular, the vegetarian (VE) or the vegan version (VG) of the tasting menu.

In March/April a fried invited us to join a party of eight for the Big Bottle event at €99 pp. Unfortunately this was very different and extremely poor value for money. The food was OK and they were keen to serve an average white wine but very reluctant to do the same with a very good red. Port was included but very few wanted it. we may go back but will never consider anything other than the menu.
