Restaurante Sal da Serra is a true gem for enthusiasts of simple and flavorful Portuguese cuisine.
Conveniently located near São Brás de Alportel, it's just a 15-minute drive from Loule and 20 minutes from both Almancil and Faro. What makes it even more convenient is that this restaurant has its own parking facilities, making it easily accessible for guests arriving by car.
The friendly and attentive service deserves praise. They always inquire if everything is to your liking and create a pleasant atmosphere.
A highlight is the lunch special priced at only 10 euros, which includes couvert, a lunch dish, dessert, coffee, and a beverage.
Furthermore, coffee and wine prices remain very affordable – 85 cents for a good coffee and 1.85 euros for a generous glass of red wine. Today, we had the choice between tuna and turkey, both being tasty options.
The à la carte menu also offers a variety of tempting choices, including starters like the dorado-avocado salad and sautéed mushrooms, and main courses, including vegetarian options like tofu à bras (11 euros), seitan espiritual (11 euros), and spaghetti (9.50 euros).
In summary, Restaurante Sal da Serra is an excellent place for a delightful meal without breaking the bank. We look forward to dining here again!
